Flag of NepalThe only triangular shaped flag in the world is that of Nepal. The history of triangular shaped flag could be traced during the time of Mahabharata and Ramayana, there is no written literature but it is believed that the origin of Nepal flag comes from Hinduism.

There is no hard proof but if we compare the flag of Nepal with those flag placed on the Hindu temple, there is some resemblance. Moreover Nepal was considered to be the only Hindu kingdom up until 2008.

Every countries national flag has there own pride, it depicts the history of a country and is considered as pride, a unique figure with distinct symbols and character which represents a country to be proud of. If we look at the flags of different country it might be confusing with similar color and designs, it does not quantify the definition of a unique symbol rather it confuses. Most of the national flags are rectangular in shape and are made of three colors.

The flag of Nepal is the only flag which is triangular and hence is the “One of a kind” which portray the history, culture heritages and the natural beauty of the country. There are three different color seen in the Nepal flag, Red, Blue and White. Each of these colors posses there own meaning. Red hints of Nepalese being brave fighter and are ready to face any challenges in life. The Gurkha fighters were ready to sacrifice there life to protect the country from being conquered. The blue color represents the peace and calmness nature of Nepali people. They might be aggressive but are cool and calm in nature. The symbol of Sun and Moon represent that the nation and its history would survive as long as Sun and Moon are present in the sky.

People of Nepal are proposing a new flag since it transformed to be a secular nation. Is it really worth changing worlds unique flag which ties the history and culture of Nepal? The flag which alone represents the entire culture, heritage and the history associated with it?

Well the choice is your guys, I personally would prefer the triangular shaped flag, as it has lots of values and represents the true Nepal.New Flag of NepalWorlds Only Triangular Flag
