Girija Prasad Koirala the architect of the current ongoing peace process has passed away. The death of Giraja Prasad Koirala has jeopardise the peace process. Although maoist have shown their dedication to fulfil his only wish to bring the peace process to the final conclusion and dream of carving a new Nepal it seems to be a long journey to go. Time will reval all and ultimately we all wish for the better future of Nepal.

Buying Souvenirs at Nepal? 1 Year ago Karma: 1
People are wondering what would be best souvenir to be bought at Nepal for yourself and your loved ones. There are variety of choices and I would recommend the following:

1. Nepali Tea would be an ideal choice for tea lovers.
2. Souvenirs like Stupa of Swaymbhu nath or Pashupati nath are found being sold randomly at around the backside of New Road and approximately NRs 700 to NRs 1200.
3. Pashmina Shawls could be another best often and are available at Ason Chawk.
4. Beaded necklaces are good options and are traditionally wore by married couples are seen selling at Ason Chawk.
5. Traditionally utensils are nice decorative souvenirs.
6. Classical and traditional classic music CD are highly recommended.
7. Lake mask could be nice decorative material for the living room.
8. Unique flag of the world Nepali Flag is unbeatable.
9. T-shirt crafting top of the world or Nepal are good options.
10. Posters and Calendars would be good choice and are mostly made in Nepali Paper.
