Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar via Gokyo lake Trek
This is an exploratory route to Mt. Everest Base Camp taken by Sir Edmund Hillarie and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in 1953 for the conquest of Mt. Everest. This trail provides a classic trekking experience in the Himalayas offering enchanting sights of Mountain trail in the higher Khumbu and relaxed observation of the diverse flora and fauna in the mid altitude regions on the approach to the Khumbu valley, the famed Everest territory.

Flora and fauna are other jewels of the Sagarmatha National Park, and the story of the Yeti is still a mystery to the rest of the world.

Itineary
Day01 : Arrival in Tribhuwan international airport transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Fly, Kathmandu / Lukla (a 45 minute flight) trek to Phakding (2610 m.)
Day 03: Phakding / Namche Bazaar (3446 m.)
Day 04: Namche Bazar Rest
Day 05: Namche Bazaar / Dole (4200 m.)
Day 06: Dole / Machchhermo (4470 m.)
Day 07: Machchhermo / Gokyo (4790 m.)
Day 08: Excursion to Gokyo Ri (5357 m.) trek to Thagnag Kharka (5025 m.)
Day 09: Cross Cho-La pass (5330 m.) descend to Dzongla (4830 m.)
Day 10: Dzongla / Lobuche (4930 m.)
Day 11: Lobuche / Gorak Shep (5140 m.)
Day 12: Excursion to Kalapatthar (5545 m.) return to Gorak Shep
Day 13: Gorak Shep / Dingboche (4343 m.)
Day 14: Dingboche / Tyengboche (3867 m.)
Day 15: Tyengboche / Namche Bazaar (3446 m.)
Day 16: Namche Bazaar / Phakding (2652 m.)

Day 17: Phakding / Lukla (2840 m.)
Day 18: Sight seeing at Kathmandu.
Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu
